The Serbian War Veterans of Kikinda Association marked the anniversary of the beginning of NATO aggression against Yugoslavia with various events. Thanks to Radovan Momcilov, the president of the Association, and the efforts of the Museum of Genocide Victims, a cultural and scientific program was organized in Kikinda on the 24th of March 2017.
In the ceremonial hall of the City Assembly, the hosts organized a commemoration in honor of Kikinda’s soldiers who died in wars between 1990 and 1999. This event was followed by the Museum of Genocide Victims exhibition ‘NATO Aggression against Yugoslavia 24 March – 10 June 1999’ in the Cultural Center. Finally, there was a two-hour scientific debate on the NATO aggression against Yugoslavia held in the ceremonial hall of the Cultural Center of Kikinda. Bojan Djokic, the expert associate of the Museum of Genocide Victims, Dr Nenad Anotnijevic, the advisor of the Museum of Genocide Victims and Prof Dr Radomir Kovacevic of the Radiation Phenomenon Protection Center all took part in the debate that was moderated by historian Marko Milosev from Kikinda.
