A while ago, Prof. Dr. Diana Johnstone, an esteemed author of several highly valuable works about the disintegration of Yugoslavia between 1990 and 1999, asked for assistance in finding an institution in Belgrade to which she would donate her own personal library. Two Serbs living in Paris (Dr. Dragan Pavlović and Prof. Dr. Boško Bojović) recommended the Museum of Genocide Victims. Having been informed of Ms. Johnstone’s intention, the Museum Director, Veljko Djurić Mišina, traveled to Paris to receive this wonderful gift.
The library consists of around 150 books, five sets of various magazines and about 20 registrators of articles from numerous Internet portals divided into thematic units, all printed in German, French and English.
The donated library will first be inventoried as a personal fund of Dr. Diana Johnstone, after which it will become available to interested researchers.
